Meet Tara Moss - Luncheon

I had a work lunch last week, it was the Women in Insurance luncheon and the guest speaker was Tara Moss.

 

She is a gorgeous woman and so personable.

I enjoyed hearing about her life from Fashion model to Author and even TV presenter.

She mainly focused on her writing which was really interesting. For eg. To help create her characters she wanted to go through things that affected them, so she learnt to shoot a gun - courtesy of the NYPD, and also did training with the FBI. She lit herself on fire (in a safe stunt environment) which I think is pretty insane, then also asked to be given a strangle/choke hold until she was unconscious.

 

Er, I'd just make it up and assume I'm telling it right! At least she is authentic :)

 

And now I really want to try out her books, so will be heading to the store to grab the first in the series.

 

The food was also quite yummy, and I'm a sucker for dessert ^_^
