OOTD and Cake Issues

I had no issue with cake, in fact I love cake! But cake does not like me...

I went to talk over my cake order with the bakery yesterday and was told that my original order she couldnt do, it wouldnt work, and was going to look boring...er...ok.

All I wanted was a simple 2 teir cake (no, bottom level too big!) which I ended up downsizing - which in the end reduced the price, a bonus there. And small pretty white flowers cascading down from the top, with little silver balls at the centres (no, white against white is so boring! You need bigger flowers otherwise your cake looks flat!) so ended up adding in a few bigger flowers amongst the smaller ones.

*sigh* I am totally going to end up with a scary looking cake, kinda like this...

Anyhoo, so its been raining again pretty heavily. Which I am hoping by the time my wedding comes up (only 2.5 weeks to go!!) it will be nice and fine. In the meantime I have been dreaming about Gumboots again. Still haven't got a pair, and instead today I had to crack out my biker boots to wear to work >.<
