Just one more day please!

I have had a great weekend so far, Friday - ok didn't really do anything as the fiance was sick, then Saturday morning had planned to go to the local food & wine festival, but with the fiance still unwell we did some more gardening around the house. And then I went out and spent more money....woops >.< But I got bargains! I found these throw cushions at Flower Power for $5 each (were about $30 originally). Score!

I also got kitty a bed in the hopes she stops shedding fur sleeping on the couch. Was a cheap $14 :)

But come Saturday night we headed out to watch Harry Potter. I was so happy to see the finale of the series, and completely think it did the books justice. What I didn't enjoy was having to watch it in 3D, it wasn't needed, but unfortunately for us Event Cinemas decided that if they pretty much only offer 3D sessions, then they can charge even more money....bloody outrageous!

I don't know about the prices in the US and elsewhere overseas, but here in Australia for us to see Harry Potter in Gold Class 3D was about $35 each person. For non Gold Class would of been about $23. Can you say rip-off!?

Anyhoo, today was my mum-in-laws birthday so we celebrated with a bbq and cake, then helped to make her watering can water feature for her backyard. Was a long day, but great to see everyone :)

Whilst out buying food for today I stumbled across the most amazing site...

Giant 5kg jar of Nutella....*praise the Lord* As a friend mentioned...I could probably fit my head in it. I think that's the only way to buy Nutella, if you can fit your head in it it's the perfect size haha.


So that is the end of my weekend....ok I kid, I actually have tomorrow off! Woohoo! I love working for an insurance company as we get the Bank holiday off, yahoo! I'll be heading to Spotlight tomorrow to hunt down some funky fabrics for a couple of animal projects my sis got me, will post about it when I finish them.

Weekend Here We Come!

Tomorrow is Friday, which means the weekend is just around the corner!! And I am so excited, why?? You say? Cos I can finally do some washing! WOOO! Ok, I know I'm boring but at least I'll be boring and in clean clothes. Seriously, am using the last towel we own haha.

Last night we got a free feed from my brother and his gf Deb, which was so yummy. She cooked Chicken Enchiladas and finished off with some apple pie for dessert. Soooo good, here are some snaps of the meal.

What I am also excited about this weekend....we are finally going to see the last Harry Potter movie (or as a mate says 'Arry Potta'). Cannot wait, I loved reading the books and really enjoyed seeing the characters portrayed in the movies. It will suck as it will mean the movies are all over, but I hope it reflects the book too.

Anyhoo my lovelies, I'm off to watch some trashy tv!

This is my favourite piece of jewellery, was given to me by my grandfather after my grandmother passed away. It was one of her favourites too. I always knew I would wear it to my wedding, so this will be my 'Something Old'. I only wear it now and then, but it always makes me remember her when I do.
