Honeymoon Choices

Ok, wow...it was mid to high 30s today, so nice and steamy. Totally waited for an air-conditioned train :)

Before boarding this chilled train I stopped into a travel agent to swipe some holiday brochures. Upon walking in I was undecided of what to get...and confused the agent there also, lol. My fiance and I are trying to figure out where to holiday for our Honeymoon. You wouldn't think it was that hard, but considering he is a snowboarder and loves adventure and I prefer warmth and relaxing by a pool, its proving harder than originally thought.

So I grabbed a book on Reunion Island (Mauritius, Madagascar etc):

This looks fun and different. Am hoping to sate his taste for adventure as there is volcanoes and white water rafting etc, which if I did I would have a death grip on the copter/boat until they had to pry me off when we stopped, but he would like it.

There are also the lemurs and animals in Madagascar which I think is awesome (would totally try to kidnap a lemur)



Or somewhere in the South Pacific, which would be more my thing, as it would be relaxing and chilled. A little adventure, but not heaps

Hmpf....methinks I have to try convince him to go where I want, lol

I totally laughed to myself over that...there may have been some weird looks in my direction because of that.

Biggest Fatties

Yay, I finally got to watch the first episode of the Biggest Loser !! It was awesome in all its disgusting glory :)

It should prove excellent viewing, as I definitely want more after the first ep.

Bring on the weigh-ins!!

Speaking of trashy tv, I have also started to watch Jersey Shore. OMG, those girls are absolute skanks. I finished season 1 in a few days, and now on season 2. Judging from the first episode where Sookie practically spray paints herself in bronzer and Jwoww has a verbal fight with Angelina, this is going to be as addictive as last season.

I don't know what I'd do without these high class shows, haha. Prob take up knitting.

Crazy heat

So after spending 45mins on the sardine can they call a train, which mind you was not airconditioned, I was welcomed by extremely sunny weather to walk to my car. Then a nie ride home in my car that had been transformed into a sauna.

Hmmm I don't know about you, but I really enjoy sitting in a pool of my own sweat whilst driving with my face in the full aircon flow.

The fiance and I decided to eat better, this was decided over a ice snack of icecream, which made my night. So it was back to the crummy museli for breakfast and salad for lunch...blergh! Seriously, why does everything that is fatty and bad for you need to taste so good!

Oh well, at least I had a enjoyable weekend of delicacies before I finally give them up! hehe

That is....until this coming weekend and our party, there will be a no-holds-barred for that one! Then back to healthy-ness *sigh* its a vicious circle.

An ode to yummyness

This was one of the best cocktails I have had in ages! A strawberry & lime caipiroska *heart*



ergh...cocktails are evil. They get you all excited over the pretty colours and yummy flavours. But in actual fact, they are lulling you into a false sense of security, whilst they wreak havoc on you head in the morning!

But overall last night was fun. We tried out the food for a wedding venue we are contemplating, which ended up being disappointing. We either have to try the food again and hope it was just that night, or look for another place! Did get to catch up with friends and chatted into the night, got home at 1am...which is sooo late for me. I'm seriously a nanna and am in bed by 9pm lol. Was such a rebel last night, look out! haha

WANT!

My bro rescued this kitty that was left outside his office. He is sooo adorable, I am contemplating smuggling him home in my handbag :P

Hooray! It works!

My first post - should be something profound right??? Hmm…don't hold your breath for that one.

So today started well, was able to actually sleep through the night! Fantastic…apart from the screeching cockatoos ripping bins to shreds in the morning. Where is a .22 when you need one :) And, I now owe my fiance $20 for betting we'd be woken up by the dog…dang.

The day is dragging quite nicely, I might look at heading out to subway for lunch, whilst attempting to stay away from the subway cookies (which I believe are laced with speed as they are the best cookie in the world and I am addicted to them). My fiance was able to get out of work to go to court (as a witness) and that only lasted for a couple of hours. Dam him! I am stuck here bored out of my brain, periodically zoning out to the view from my desk window (nothing spesh, just buildings and an intersection) and counting down the minutes till I can get my paws on lunch!

Methinks cocktails are on the agenda tonight, as after today will want a perk up. Will be toasting our close friends recent engagement (YAY!) so will be fun, and followed by eating as much as possible. Ah bliss.

What I have had fun doing today was creating my wedding budget sheet including all details and aspects needed to cover for the big day. From booking the venue, to buying a garter :) its all there. Best thing was, it was in a spreadsheet, so kinda looked like I was doing work, Swish!

I hope everyone had a fab Australia Day on Wed 26th. Our friends did a Fridge to Fridge on bikes, was a great idea, but my bum was not so forgiving >.<
